DISC
This is a free DISC-like assessment. DISC is an assessment that tells you how your personality works with others. It’s great for team environments and workplace situations. If you ever get the chance to take the official DISC test, do so. It’s very informative! In the meantime, this is a nice version that can be interpreted using the DISC criteria, and comes close enough for most situations.
DISC is an acronym for:
| Dominance | Relating to control, power and assertiveness |
| Influence | Relating to social situations and communication |
| Steadiness | Relating to patience, persistence, and thoughtfulness |
| Conscientiousness | Relating to structure and organization |

Spiritual Gifts
The Bible lists certain Spiritual Gifts that we’re all endowed with. These gifts are embedded in our nature and should direct the way we live, including our careers social lives, and the way we serve God and people. Believers and non-believers can benefit from this assessment.
Spiritual gifts are:
| Teaching | Leadership | Encouragement |
| Wisdom | Prophesy | Administration |
| Pastor/Teacher | Apostleship | Giving |
| Hospitality | Mercy | Evangelism |
| Pastor/Shepherd | Help/Service | Discernment |
| Knowledge | Faith |

Myers Briggs
Myers Briggs-Jung Personality Assessment
The Myers Briggs Assessment is also a very popular personality assessments, and often used by psychologists. This short version is free, and returns results based on how one scores between four comparisons. This assessment is good for work environments, but also great for analyzing family and social interactions. This assessment asks you to log into the site.
The four categories are:

Expressive | vs. | (I) Introversion |
Attentive |
| (S) Sensing |
Observant | vs. | (N) Intuiting |

Keirsey Personality Assessment
Keirsey Personality Assessment (login required)
The Keirsey Assessment is one of the most popular personality assessments around. It uses the same basic results from the Myer’s Briggs, but expands on the interpretation. Sixteen personality types are described:
| ARTISAN | GUARDIAN | RATIONAL | IDEALIST |
| Promoter (ESTP) |
Supervisor (ESTJ) |
Fieldmarshal (ENTJ) |
Teacher (ENFJ) |
| Crafter (ISTP) |
Inspector (ISTJ) |
Mastermind (INTJ) |
Counselor (INFJ) |
| Performer (ESFP) |
Provider (ESFJ) |
Inventor (ENTP) |
Champion (ENFP) |
| Composer (ISFP) |
Protector (ISFJ) |
Architect (INTP) |
Healer (INFP) |

I found the DISC and the Spiritual Gifts unhelpful as the results are unclear.
The Keirsey Assessment was amazing – it explained me and my current situation to a ‘T’.
Tam,
Thanks for trying out the assessments!
I think each assessment fits differently based on our situation, so it’s not surprising one of them gave you better information than the others. I’m glad the Keirsey hit home well for you. It’s more of a real “personality” assessment than the DISC. The DISC tends to reflect a person’s strengths in a work/team setting. This DISC assessment, of course, is a simple one. The real DISC is more in-depth and as such, more valuable.
You can probably take your Keirsey results and recognize your spiritual gifts through them. God placed great, and unique, things in each of us and it’s embedded in our personality.
